For full protection offered from the top of the head and even down to the neck, the Wigwam Big Sexy Winter Hat is a great option.  The incredibly warm faux fur polyester outer shell also helps to block wind, cold temperatures and other elements from the ears, through the neck and includes a buckle for under the chin.  The Nylon lining is comfortable on this Wigwam hat which is offered in either black or brown.

    Carhartt Peninsula Trapper Hat

    Carhartt

Another great winter hat option, again offering more full protection is the Carhartt Peninsula Trapper Hat.  Constructed with a durable water repellent (DWR) finish, it is made of a 97% cotton canvas and 3% Spandex blend woven fabric.  Extra insulation is provided by the quilted cotton lining in the crown and the 100% acrylic fur lining on the ear flaps, visor flap and outer flap helps to assure as much warmth as possible.  The Carhartt hat has two color options, either Carhartt Brown or Black.

    Mad Bomber Waxed Cotton Bomber

    Mad

If you prefer real fur to help protect you from the winter elements, the Mad Bomber Waxed Cotton Bomber hat is a sure bet to satisfy.  Trimmed with 100% natural brown rabbit fur, the hat helps provide warmth and protection.  With a quilted lining at the crown, once again, this Mad Bomber hat covers ears and neck, blocking all unwanted elements.  The snap-lock at the chin isn’t just to hold the flap up or down, but also to provide extra warmth to a typically exposed area.

For winter hats that offer more of a full coverage option, Dave’s New York has many to select from in your favorite high-quality brands.  Whether commuting to work, or baring the elements for outdoor jobs or hobbies, these winter hats will help block out the unpleasant elements that would otherwise cause you to want to retreat to indoor comforts.
