Irish Setter Work Boots
Irish Setter Work Boots has been around since the 1950's. Inspired by an outdoor life, Irish Setter made boots for the hunt. As a division of Red Wing Boots, Irish Setter was built on the same premise as their counterparts - quality, durability and value.Their classic wedge sole was built on the idea that a boot should be comfortable on dirt and grassy terrain, and not track any dirt. The classic hunt boots were developed between 1950 and 1956 including the classic 9-inch model 877 which features a moc-toe and the "Cush-N-Crepe" wedge sole. With each passing year the popularity of the Irish Setter hunting boots grew, which led to further development and more styles. In the 1980's Irish Setter added a work division to their boots and showing that the Irish Setter Boot was not just for hunting, but for everyday on-the-job use. It's styles included waterproof models, heavy-duty leather models, and soles and heels that withstood the test of any jobsite. Now Irish Setter is distinctly in two main categories of boots - Hunt and Work. At Dave's New York we are proud to offer some of each category of boots that is offered. Whether it is a Steel Toe Safety Work Boot that you need, or a lightweight Waterproof Hunting Boot, we supply only the best from Irish Setter.
