In-Store Event with Apparel Designer Tory Van Thompson

Dave's New York is hosting apparel designer Tory Van Thompson for our first ever, in-store event!

Tory will be onsite with his sewing machine and tools to give you a behind-the-scenes glimpse at how he creates his reconstructed Dickies pieces.

While at The Art Institute of New York City, Tory learned to hone his skills in apparel design. His eye for detail and fabrics perfectly lent itself to incorporating products by well-known brands and making them his own.

Most recently, Tory has taken Dickies Original 874 work pants and uses multiple pieces to deconstruct and then reconstruct the pants into unique designs.   

Dave’s New York, Dickies, and Tory invite you to come see his method at work and place an order for your own custom pair!
