PRODUCT REVIEW: Keen Utility Men's Kansas City Work Boots

Short story - The Keen Kansas City is an all-around men's boot that blends a sneaker-like feel with heavy duty features. It's waterproof, features a carbon fiber toe, flex-grooves, and a surprisingly flexible but grippy bottom. The padded top collar keeps it comfortable on your ankle. All-around, this boot can go from a medium duty job (like warehouse) all the way to a heavy duty job (demo & construction).

Long Story - Keen is known for their outdoor boots, blending function and durability in a hiker that can cross all terrain. Their work boots bring the same DNA but add much needed grit and functional features. The Kansas City work boot is a great example of this melding. From a functional standpoint these boots feature a full waterproof membrane. They also feature anti-microbial linings, a cushioned footbed, eyelets and speed hooks. The most notable feature are the flex grooves over the forefoot. These grooves help make the boot comfortable from day 1. Tested to withstand tens of thousands of flexes, these grooves mixed with a sneaker-like outsole give you all day comfort.

Keen also made sure to add durability with an abrasion resistant shell. There is a seamless toe cap to protect the top of the boot from shedding. They added a carbon fiber safety toe that protects you to OSHA standards but is also asymmetrical in design for comfort.
