PRODUCT REVIEW: Timberland PRO Reaxion Work Boots

Timberland is probably best known for their wheat (tan) color classic work boots. It’s a signature style that defined their line of boots for decades; but the story doesn’t stop there. Timberland prides itself on equipping people to make a difference in the world. And they live out this mission by creating outstanding products and trying to make a difference in the communities in which we live and work. This is evident in their initiatives to make products that are durable, functional, and meet strict sourcing standards. Today we are reviewing the new Timberland PRO Composite Toe Reaxion work boots.

Timberland PRO Men’s Composite Toe Reaxion Waterproof Work Boots

Short Story: The Reaxion work boots break the mold of traditional work boots, but are definitely made for the job site. The Reaxion has a blend of durability and ruggedness that you expect from a work boot, function and utility that’s needed on a job site, and comfort that you are used to finding in sneakers. An added benefit is that they are available in both men’s and women’s fits. Overall these boots check off so many wants and needs that they could easily be your new favorite pair of work boots.

Long Story: There are so many features, we could write a whole book!  But we will try to keep it on the shorter side of a long story. In terms of fit, the Reaxion is cut and shaped like a lightweight hiker. It has a lower profile toe box, as well as a cushioned cuff for comfort around the ankle. Timberland also made sure to use a soft fabric mesh lining throughout the boot so that your foot feels support without feeling restricted.

When it comes to the function of the boot, there are a ton of features that help it on the job site. This boot contains a full waterproof membrane, guaranteed to keep you dry. They also feature a composite safety toe that meets or exceeds the OSHA ASTM F2413 standards for Impact, Compression and Electrical Hazard Rating.

On the outside you will see a rubberized toe cap that overlays the leather for added durability and a heel-cup for stability and longer wear. Under your foot you will find Timberland PRO’s Anti-Fatigue technology that helps you stay comfortable all-day long. And under the insole you will find an Aerocore midsole that acts like a shock-absorber that helps release and store energy with each step to make your whole day more comfortable.

These boots are definitely a break from a traditional style, but if you are looking for a lightweight, functional, and comfortable work boot option, then this could fit the bill. Try one on and see for yourself why this has been one of the most popular additions to the Timberland PRO line of work boots.
