Introducing the 'Work Hard' T-shirt and Collection

"Built for those who work hard, by those who work hard."

Those words are truly how we feel about our customers, our products, and who we are. At Dave's we are proud to serve those customers who work hard. We also know that we have to work hard to create the value that our customers deserve.

Since the time we started making our own products a few years ago, we wanted to encapsulate how we feel about it. We spoke about the quality, the durability, the materials, or the function. But none of those call-outs fit just right. What we realized is that we make many different products for many different people who do many different things, and we could not define it simply by using a generic term. So we had many long discussions within our family and with the team to help us define how we should speak about our brand and our products.

One amazing thing about what followed is how everyone came up with different ideas as to our customer base. We have locals, commuters, and tourists. We have construction workers and content creators, brick layers and bartenders, maintenance staff and small business owners. We have men, women, and kids of all ages. The list seemed endless, but the realization is that there was a common thread throughout; no matter who you are or where you come from, you are coming to Dave's for value. Value in our service, value in our products, and value in our prices.

The reason value is so important is because a Dave's customer wants good clothes, and understands that value is not just the price that you pay, but what you get in return; quality in each product. People who care about these things are looking to buy pieces that are "worth it." It only makes sense that we build products that support this notion.

So we make sure that we build our products for those people who work hard. Regardless of WHAT you do, we know it's more important HOW you do it. And if you work hard, then it is our responsibility to work hard too. And that is exactly how we feel and what led us to our motto: "Built for those who work hard, by those who work hard."

In everything that we do, we try to live up to these expectations. As we work to develop new products, and introduce new designs, we want to be thoughtful, purposeful, and  intentional. We want you to know that we respect the work that you do, and we promise to work hard to honor that.
